Taking pictures for no reason

ASMP has started a blog about the in's and outs and practices of the business of photography.

The Strictly Business program ran fantastic seminars around the country last year on how to do business, something not all of us do intuitively. I spoke at several of the events, and I was very impressed at the solidity of the training they provided.

They are continuing that work with this blog, and you'd do well to follow it. I just posted a litle piece about why taking pictures without purpose is good business.

And if you don't know about ASMP, it is time to check the organization out.
